Ramit came to the United States in 2010 from Israel. She had previously studied Fashion Design, and when she started her family soon after arriving in the US, she, like many moms, spent a lot of time at home. During these early days of family life, she came to recognize that her passion is designing beautiful spaces for people to live well in. That is when pursued Interior Design.

 

Ramit Appel graduated from the Boston Architectural College, with a Certificate of Residential Interior Design.

 

Ramit has started out her design dreams by first offering her services to friends and family. She is very experienced at making small spaces feel larger, and she is also adept at making a large space feel cozy and inviting. However, Ramit’s true expertise is her ability to listen to her clients and help them figure out the feeling they want to evoke in their home. Home is a very special place. More than a specific color palette or style, the feelings we hope for when at home, or when welcoming others into our homes are what matter. Style is personal, design is universal. Ramit will help clients figure out what their unique style is and apply design principles to achieve the desired effect.

 

Throughout her journey as a designer, new opportunities have presented themselves, focusing on the construction of new spaces and renovation of existing ones. These projects have given her knowledge of the construction process, including floor planning. She has gained experience in the needs and limitations of a new-build project. Most importantly, Ramit is excellent at building a team. She is prepared to work with your contractor or to provide you with referrals.
